I just got mie yeaterday. It was $19.99. I'm so excited because I couldn't find a large rolling except a PME one that was $75. That trip to michaels really paid off!

I need something a little bigger than what I currently have (little bitty 8" and a pampered chef pastry one that has 2 ends on it)
Yea, I had a little one too. This one is 20" and I can't wait to use it. I wish I had the 40% cupon, but this was the last one they had and i didn't want to wait!

Is there a taste of PVC pipe in your fondant or pastry dough as you roll it and put it on the cakes? Does it give off that metalic taste? Just wondering. Thank you.
PVC piping is plastic. There is no taste from it at all.
Cakeconfections, I thought about doing that ( I'm all about the hardware store!) I just didnt know if it would have enoughweight to it. Glad it worked for you!
PVC is a pretty thick plastic and what I liked about it i had a lot of choices as far as diameter of the pipe. I have a pretty wide roller so that I am able to roll my fondant on it to tranfer it to the cake.
