In the past I've seen people on this forum talking about cookies and cream filling and how yummy it is. Does anyone have a good recipe they can share? Also, what kind of cake do you normally the filling with? Thanks for any help.

I use it in a chocolate cake and tastes really good. Hope you like it.

i used this http://cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2079-Cookies--Cream-Filling.html filling on my boyfriend's graduation cake and he loved it. maybe use a little less cream though if you really want it cookie-ish
Thanks so much. I had tried searching for the recipe, but guess I didn't type it in correctly. I can't wait to try it.
I made the cookies and cream filling in a cookies and cream cake. I just took a BC white cake mix and crushed up 12 oreos and folded them into the batter right before baking. It turned out REALLY good.
Someone on the wilton site, suggested cool whip and crushed oreo cookies to me. I tried it and it was great. This also doesn't need refrigeration.
For a VERY sweet but delicious filling, thin out some buttercream and add crushed Oreo's. Or, make a typical pudding/whippedcream-based cake filling and fold in about 12-16 crushed Oreo's. DELICIOUS.
For mine, I use my BC recipe and add crushed Oreo's and a block of Cream Cheese. My family Loves ANYHTING with Cream Cheese- It is really good!
Forgot to add........I use it with white cake as well as triple chocolate- and they are both good...
