hi all, my DH birthday is in 10 days he loves the LOSt series, i don't know if anyone is familiar with it, beacuse i was thinking of doing something like it ! i have no ideas please help !

How about a beach scene with a fondant airplane broken in half (due to the crash) And injured people scatered about.

You could make a desert island. I don't know if it would be tacky or not to have a tail of a plane sticking out of it....but it would make it more lost-y

lots of people have islands and beach cakes on here. I would just make a round cake, and maybe curve the edges then put brown sugar or graham cracker crumbs or whatever for the sand. then for the trees you could make them out of fondant or even just buy them at the toy store. for the plane I would just make it out of fondant if I were you. it would be so much fun to try!

I am not familiar with the show. Does it have a logo or emblem it uses?

Ok, how about the Lost logo? Go to their website and photo copy it then do a frozen butter cream transfer.

not really any logos...unless you're a super huge fan and would recognize the project dharma logo. which i am, and would....

LOVE LOVE LOVE that show. Anyway I dont know if I have any really good ideas but you could decorate it with the symbol form that Dharma initiative (that spider webby thing) Or maybe a sheet cake with big fondant block letters with lost on it (like the logo) Go to abc.com and see if they have some other ideas that might spark you.

i don't know if this is too abstract, but you could make just a rectangular cake like a plane ticket for the oceanic flight. it would be liek ooooooooooh you're going to be on the island....

How about any of the following:

1) Do a 3-D cake of an airplane(Oceanic Airlines) split in 1/2 on the beach

2) Do a FBCT of his favorite cast member.

3) Do a square cake, 1/4 beach, 1/4 trees and 1/2 water with a raised round dome to be one of the 'hatches'. You could have the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 on one side of the cake, or DHARMA on it.

4) Do the Lost logo with the 'numbers' or 'DHARMA' and that design on a cake.

5) Do a computer cake with the numbers on the screen, and it says to 'Push the button'.

Hope those help. That is all I can think of right now. Really check out the Lost website to get some ideas.

Ok you LOST lovers..I want to preface this by I don't know the show at all, but I just looked at the website and the brown and orange tye-dye looking square with the words BAD TWIN scratched into it looks really neat!

The numbers are a great idea-

Also there are some other logos (besides just the black and white one)
there is one with more of a bluish backgrouns with the ocean waves at the bottom and the characters standing on the beach. YOu could just do the silouettes of the people in black maybe. Or there is one with grey/blusish colors with some palm trees or something.

Also I went to the website and under the merchandise area they had a calendar with a message in a bottle floating in the water-that might be cool
