Good morning! I just got a request for a treasure chest cake to serve 15-20 children and have no idea where to start with a price. I would be using cake mix and would probably do it with some candy and treasures peeking out of the cake.
Would anyone be kind enough to give me an idea for a price? I really do appreciate it. I am very new to this and I don't want to undercharge as I've done with the last 2 cakes I've sold icon_smile.gif

Thanks, cindy

I made one (in my pics. ) I think I may have used two cake mixes...but I used rice krispie treats for the lid (which I recommend) the kids loved it and it definitely kept the lid from falling or slumping!!! I would probably charge around 40-50 dollars for the one I did.......it really wasn't THAT labor intensive....but it was still 2 mixes and the rice krispie treats needed time to set up. Plus if you provide the "treasure" that's extra money spent.
