OK, just did my first and last fondant covered cake. thank heavens it was only practice! First used wiltons "Ivory" color for MMF fondant that I made. It looks like a brownish dirty peach color. then I used every trick I have read on here to apply fondant to cake. Rolled it our between mats so it wouldnt stick. Got it onto cake ok. top looks ok. then the sides! Looks like a ruffeled petticoat! no way in heck to get that smooth. even set it up in a smaller, taller coffee can to let it drape. Not happening. I guess we will be a fondant accent only house........sigh
