I'm going to be making fudge today and I want to know what is the equivalent of extract to oil. My recipe calls for 3 tsp of extract and I want to know how much oil to use in place of the extract. Lorann Oils recommend using 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of oil for a fudge recipe. Please help icon_smile.gif

The guide is somewhere around 1 part oil for 4 parts extract, but this depends on the manufacturer. Not every oil is as strong, so tasting is your best bet.
