I am having the most difficult time trying to get a deep burgandy/wine color icing. I have used the entire container of red and it still look rose colored. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Add a little black and brown. Just do a little at a time. That's how I did my roses in my course 3 final cake. It definitely took a lot of color, but I finally got my desired color. Check my picture in my gallery.

I never had a problem getting deep burgundy just use lots of it and little black it helps if you start with pink icing first

I use red and then add black a drop at a time. I got a beautiful shade with it.
