I'm so excited!
After about two years of wanting one and thinking about it, I'm heading to the mall tonight to get one.
I have decided on the Artisan series.
Feedback from anyone who has one is appreciates.

I finally talked myself into getting one because today when I was making MMF my hand mixer started to smell like burning. icon_confused.gif oops

I don';t have the Artisan series but do have the KA Heavy Duty and would not trade it for nothing you will be happy you made that trip to the mall and if your like me when you get home you will think of a reason to use it weather you have too or not.Congrats! Happy mixing!

I feel your excitement! I got a Kitchen Aid Artisan for Christmas, and I am absolutely loving it! The best part is it's PURPLE!...LOL...my favorite color...I held out until I could get either a Purple or Pink one...yeah, I know...I'm nuts! But seriously, it has been wonderful, and I have had no problems with it. I DO recommend getting extra bowls for it though! It's just nice to have an extra mixing bowl for certain recipes. Congratulations! I hope the two of you will enjoy years of baking together! icon_smile.gif

I tell a lot of people to be the one that is NSF approved if they think they might go into business someday. You have to buy these from a restaurant supplier. t approved for comemrcial use. It only comes in white.

I just got mine last week. I love it. Couldn't wait to use it. I agree that I wouldn't trade it for anything. I did keep my cheap hand mixer for smaller jobs. My husband is gone so he dosen't know that I bought it. I'm just going to tell him it my birthday present from my dad. You're going to love it.
