I am making the strawberry tower cake.

It says to disolve gelatin in cold water then add the boiling water. It says to use 1 1/2 boiling water...so my question is 1 1/2 what? Cups?

Filling
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups fresh strawberries washed, hulled, diced
1/2 T unflavored gelatin
1 T cold water
1 1/2 boiling water
8 ounces Mascarpone cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup whipping cream

I found the recipe on another site, the quantities are different than yours, but from this second recipe I would guess Tablespoons.

3 - 4 cups Fresh strawberries: washed and diced.
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 envelope knox unflavored gelatin
2 tablespoons cold water
3 tablespoons boiling water
8 ounces marscapone cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
