I'm contemplating making a pink champagne cake. I got a recipe some time back that starts out using a cake mix. Has anyone out there ever made a pink champagne cake?????? I just don't know if it's really good. I'd love to hear from someone who's tried this cake. Thanks so much!!!

I tried it. I liked the cake but I didn't like the icing.

i make it using the white almond sour cream recipe. Leave out the almond flavor of course, use the champagne for the water in the recipe and then I add a tiny bit of pink coloring, because it doesn't turn out pink with just the champagne. It's good.
