Great idea!

Since I have only made a handful of cakes, not much to choose from and really looking forward to those I have coming up, but so far my favorite was the Dora I did for my daughter, mostly because of her expression!

But the easiest was the ice cream sundae and I had a great time with that!

This is the cake I'm most proud of. It was my first attemted at carving a cake (no pun intended) icon_wink.gif . Probably not my best creativity and design-wise, but the one I am most proud of accomplishing.

This cake was very special to me.......made for my Grandparents 50th Anniversary.....it fed over 500 people. It's the biggest cake I've ever made. Got rave reviews- white chocolate cake w/ raspberry, lemon, chocolate, pecan praline, strawberry, cookies & cream, and plain BC fillings with white chocolate BC.

Great idea! Here's my favorite. My SIL was making these drink pouch purses for family and friends. She'd use real drink pouches and sew them together and then top them with a feather boa. We all had to save our drink pouches for her icon_lol.gif I made this cake (using edible image drink pouches) for her birthday and she really got a kick out of it.

This was my favorite cake so far. I did this for my oldest daughter's 13th birthday this year. First time working with the rice paper butterfly's. Trying for a fairy land feeling with Tinkerbell on the top.

TamiAZ- I love that cake! I can see why it would be your favorite!

Well I have 2 that I could not decide between so I will just post them both.
The first one was for a friends daughter for her 1st birthday. The bottom tier is iced in yellow buttercream with pink royal icing apple blossoms. For the top tier I had to use buttercream for the apple blossoms because the top tier was for a Vegan family at the party. I just froze the flowers before attaching them. The topper is made with melted candy melts and there is a very small pulled sugar ribbon that my hubby made for the cake. This cake just had som many different techniques and came together so well.

The second cake was made for my mother for mothers day. She loves the color green and dragonflies so I thought this design was fitting. I actually decorated this as a demo for Michaels Wedding event. I am a Wilton instructor there, so the majority of the decorating was done in the store. I pre covered the cakes in green MMF. Buttercream brush embroidery ( my first time on a cake) and royal icing dragonflies ( made ahead of time of course) sprinkled with cake sparkles. Then I added ribbon roses at the last minute. I think it came out pretty good. My mom loved it!

I'd have to say this one because it was my first time doing cornelli lace. I just went for it and it didn't turn out 1/2 bad. There is a larger version in my photos.

I have 2 favorites, both done long ago, and sadly, before digital cameras. So they are scanned photos, and a little soft focus. Not sure if know how to upload 2 images in the same post, but I will try. By the way, both are baby shower cakes.

P.S.: I am so impressed with the gorgeous cakes people have posted so far. We have so much talent in this community, it makes me feel embarrassed to show my cakes.

I haven't had the opportunity to do anything like some of the amazing cakes on here yet! These are all FANTASTIC thumbs_up.gif ! So my favorite so far are the two bikini cakes I've done, but not sure if I can post them here? Their not even in my photos, just in the naughty gallery icon_redface.gificon_lol.gif I just love all the cakes on this site, to me they all look amazing because we here know just how much time and energy and hard work go into each and every cake that we all make no matter the outcome of it, they all are wonderful icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gificon_wink.gif
