This is mine, just finished it about 10 minutes ago! It's for my daughter's 4th birthday tomorrow. I really love it, I wanted to make it girly and all she wanted was a BIG cake (it's a 6, 8, & 10in, so I think she has her wish icon_lol.gif).

Wow So much talent on here, it's just breathtaking!

One of my favourite cakes is one I did last year to test a new technique: BC Glaze. I was asked to do this cake for someone's graduation, so I incorporated the school colours into the design:

Thank You Misdawn!!! I was very happy with the way that cake turned out.

I made it by following the instructions from the "Angels watching over thee" cake in the Wilton 2001 yearbook. The window frame, flower box, angels, crib, and curtains are all color flow. The flowers are Royal icing. The cake was 11x15 iced in Buttercream.

I made this for my niece's baptism and when my sister in law saw the cake she told me it was so beautiful she wanted to cry!

Compared to all of your wonderful cakes mine is so plain I am almost afraid to say anything. It is my third cake, I ever decorated, first from scratch, first stacked, first try at a border, and a lot of other first. The story behind it is funny, I think since it is my brothers 20th birthday cake. icon_twisted.gif

okay, now that the fathers day contest is over I can show you my other favorite cake, it is my hubbys favorite. It was my first time molding fondant and making fondant flowers. It was so much fun. Each mouse represents one of our children. The baby mouse sleeping in the flowers has a sore paw so it is bandaged, because our real life baby got a second degree burn on her hand not long before I made this cake. You can't see her very well, but you can see a better picture in my photos. I had to upload this one, because the other one was too big.

Here's mine! It was from a Wilton yearbook - I think 2004 - 2006. Sorry can't remember! It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun & they loved it. It was white cake w/ vanilla buttercream and Wilton fondant that I added some vanilla to.

Messi, that is such a beautiful cake. I was just looking at that yearbook last night, and your cake is so perfect, it could have been the demo in the book. Makes me want to try it.........

Dandy, isn't it hard to make something simple look beautiful? Everything has to be spot on, and boy, yours is...... that cake is awesome.

The card cake is great, I want to copy it, and I love how you worked the school colors in there, basilikon.

And the colors of that clown cake, Liis! Oh my gosh, I love that, too.........

Alaskanmom, again, how the simple looks so beautiful..... I wanna copy that cake....... think I will!

I could go on and on.............

This is my favorite so far. I've had others (the Home Depot hat...my wedding cake)...but this one just "takes the cake" for me! icon_wink.gif It was for my dad's birthday on the 4th (we celebrated Sunday).

By the way, I LOVE all the cakes posted here! They are AMAZING!

I'm amazed at how many of these photo's I have saved in my favorites! Great cakes.

Here is my favorite cake. I did this for my 3 year old's birthday in June. She couldn't decide between Spongebob, Dora or Strawberry Shortcake....so I gave her all 3. She actually looked at it for about an hour smiling from ear to ear. We called it Spongeberry Doradumpling.
