The little paring knives are perfect for trimming fondant from the bottom of cakes..they are small enough that they handle very nicely and they are sharp

Not to change the subject, but have any of you had a Pampered Chef party? That might be fun for a cake club to do as a fund raiser! icon_razz.gif

My favorite PC is the stoneware cookie sheets. We bake tons of stuff on them. I even broke one last year, and they replaced it for free! That kind of service is worth the price to me.

I agree 100% on the paring knife. I love them I have tons of them and use them for all aspects of decortating. I also like the roller for rolling out smaller pieces of fondant. I love the measuring cups. especially the adjustable ones for the shortening. It comes right out with those. You can get it all out quick and easilly. ANd lastly I love love loves the spatulas. I have 2 of each size. They have some of the nicest I have ever used. I am really picky about them. Oh and I like the scoops for making cake balls.
Ok. I will quit now. I am a kitchen gadget geek. Sorry. icon_wink.gif

I had a Pampered Chef Bridal Shower, and I LOVED it....I got a ton of stuff, and that was five years ago, and it still looks new and everything still works perfectly.

My favorite is my measure-all cup. Awesome for peanut butter and other solids.

oh, i almost totally forgot. i can't take the credit for this, but it's totally worth sharing. i saw a post on here a while back where someone (i am so sorry, i can't remember who) figured out an awesome idea for that measure-all cup. take the plunger out of the sleeve thing and put your pastry bag in it. then fold the open end over the top, fill the bag, then pull it out the bottom! nice and clean and works like a charm! plus, you can set it down on the counter to fill and have an extra hand!

i also use the bamboo spoons to mix everything! when i color frosting or chocolate, they never pick up the color!

i'm having a pc party june 10, anyone wanna come? icon_biggrin.gif

Oh man I didn't even think about Cake Central (bad bad me!) May is Help Whip Cancer (Breast Cancer month and special pink promotions) month for Pampered Chef and i just did a fundraiser party last saturday. I am planning on closing my show this week so if anyone wants to order send me a PM and I can send you to a website that you can order from. A portion of ALL orders goes towards the American cancer society for breast cancer research and awareness, I am passing on all of my host options and discounts so that all proceeds go to fight this cause.

I only have a few Pampered Chef items. I love my measure all cups and spoons. I also have two covered shakers that I use for powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar. No bakeware though!

I started selling PC because I loved the products so much. icon_smile.gif

My favorites are the stoneware bar pans. I am unable to bake cookies or bread on anything else now, and be happy with the results. I have yet to burn anything on them, and actually have two now. I want six (two for in the oven, two to go next into the oven, and two to be cooling). That would help tremendously when baking 200+ sugar cookies. icon_razz.gif The stone bakeware, quite simply, rocks.

But I love the measure all, and the large scraper. and I'm partial to my Batter Bowl. And the large scoop for cupcakes. And the medium scoop for cookies. And the small scoop for tart shells (used, of course, with the mini tart pan and the tart shaper). I could go on and on...

Okay, really, when I set up my wedding registry, I put almost everything from the catalog in there, and just duplicated some stuff that I know I want more than one of! LOL

I sell PC so of course I LOVE it all.... but a couple others I would suggest for cake baking is the New torte pan, silicone floral cupcake pan and the mini whipper.... I use my mini whippers daily, they will get the lumps out of anything by hand.. which I prefer to mix my cake mixes by hand... dont ask me why because I dont know...

PC has lots of wonderful products that make my baking life a lot easier! icon_smile.gif

OK if we had a contest to see who had the most Pampered Chef stuff, I would win. I used to sell PC years ago. I sold for about 3 years. I have every gadget imaginable. I love their stuff. I know it's on the expensive side but it is totally worth every penny. I love the stoneware. I have never burned anything on them. They are awesome. I use their Batter Bowl to make my doll cakes. It makes a much bigger doll cake them the sports ball pans or wonder pans. I love their spatulas. One can never have too many spatulas. Their recipes are also awesome.

I think I could compete too.... I have been collecting PC for about 13 years ... its such an addiction.. I think the quality speaks for itself and the company is behind their products which makes them soooo much better.

I agree some things do seem a little pricey, but if you compare to other high quality kitchen stores... they are usually cheaper... and my favorite mini whipper is only $3.00

I love it too, I sold it briefly, to support my habit. There are so many things I love of theirs. I constantly use my batter bowls and the mini spatula and round stone. The cookbooks are great, and the little ones (Season's Best) are only $1. I love the cookie press too. It works great for Butterspritz cookies. Even my mom likes it and she has never had good luck with presses.
