Wht Almond Sour Cream Cake And Lemon Juice?

Has anyone added lemon juice to the WASC cake? The reason I'm asking is that my daughter wanted a lemon cake for her baby shower. I love the WASC recipe so much, it makes such fabulously moist cakes and I have adapted it to other flavors but not lemon. Would lemon juice curdle it or what? Any thoughts from anyone would be most appreciated! I'm going to bake a practice one today so I thought I'd ask before I start!

I used that recipe with pure orange juice cut and squeeze and it was perfect . i had a friend trried it with lemon juice and a little rind. and it did taste good. i preferred the orange cause i dont like lemons but it was good even though. goog luck
i have an adaptation of the recipe for a lemon cake if you want it email me. It's really good!
