Okay now I have the cookie recipe thing figured out and I found a good icing Toba Garrets Glace. My question, how exactly do you go about the decorating process. Do you do two or more colors at once ,as in a picture. When writing somethig do you layer each color and wait for each color to dry??I know these sound like lame question but if you know the answer or can direct me to a link I would appreciate the help so much. Thank you thank you!!

Depends on the design of your cookie. If you are layering the colors then yes you need to wait till each one is dry. If you are outlining then filling in then you need to wait till the outline is dry before you fill. I've done some heart cookies for valentines and wanted a swirly look so I did them red then while still wet I put pink and swirled so when they dried it was nice and smooth.
