This was my very first wedding cake!! It's a shot taken in my kitchen....it looked much better at the reception...they had a great layout on a table with flowers, etc....

I had this topper planned for a competition that I never made, so I made it for sis....her whole wedding theme then revolved around peacocks.

All I can say is WOW and DOUBLE WOW. This cake is in the OH MY GOD area. How fantastic, I'm sure everyone at the reception was truely flabbergasted by the cake.

How did your husband pick up a cake that big?

I absolutely LOVE peacocks....well, I really like jelly fish and octopus too...but Whistler is one of my favorite artists and he did beautiful peacocks.....ANYWAY....this cake is just STUNNING! Is there any way you could please post a tutoria on how to make the peacocks? They look so very professional. I thought, at first, that they were purchased porcelian (I know I spelled that wrong, forgive me).
