Does anyone have a rec. for using fresh strawberries in between layers of cake, they are in season right know!

This is my new Strawberry Filling that I make. People go nuts over it and I have to admit I love it. I am not a fan of strawberry flavouring in things but this is good!
1 Can of Comstock Strawberry Pie Filling/Topping
1 8ounce package of Cream Cheese
1 Large Jar of Marshmellow Cream

Strawberry cake filling
Introduction:
This is an easy to make strawberry filling that you will get rave reviews for!
Ingredients:
2 ½ to 3 cups strawberries (if frozen, thaw first then drain.)
¾ cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
Directions:
In a 2 quart saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch and water
Cook over medium heat until thickened
Set a side and let cool
itsloops, I make the same filling as your 2nd recipe. I am interested in the 1st recipe you posted.
