Well, I have said every 4-letter word in the English language...as well as some flithy French ones today. icon_lol.gif

I iced 130 monogram cookie favours 2 nights ago for today's pickup and accidentally reversed the colours I was supposed to use!!!

The cookies were ordered as sage green backgrounds, white borders, white monogram letters and white ribbons....well I didn't check my notes and made them white backgrounds, sage green borders, sage green monogram letters and white ribbons. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

I realized my mistake writing up the invoice this morning, so I called the bride and explained. She was nice about it, but asked that I now change the ribbons from white to sage green to at least get more of their colour in there. (All their table linens and plates are white...the COOKIE FAVOURS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONLY COLOUR ON THE TABLES!!!)
I had to rush to the ribbon store, buy 50 more yards for $20, re-wrap them all AND forfeit her wrapping charge of $60 to please her. So, today I lost $80 + $20 for 2 cab rides downtown and back for one cookie order.

Great...I think that works out to about $2 per hour for my stupid error! icon_mad.gificon_lol.gificon_mad.gificon_lol.gificon_mad.gif Oh well...a mistake I will never make again!

Major bummer, but you did the right thing making it right again...even if you took a loss. Take a deep breath and move on. icon_smile.gif
