I am making an 8" round cake with white buttercream icing and chocolate ganache poured over the top and drizzled down the sides. Now the question is what would be a good filling....... buttercream, ganache, or something else????

A berry filling would be nice, something a little tart to counteract all that sweet.

how about a whipped ganache with fruit flavor...dark chocolate orange, white chocolate raspberry, dark chocolate lemon?
