I am a couple of years into this decorating thing and am wondering how you all keep your recipes? I have abandoned my little 4x6 recipe cards and am working on a three ring binder wiht computer print offs now. Any other ideas?
Thanks for your thoughts.
File drawer folder for ideas and "ideas"
Mastercook recipe software. It is very inexpensive and can be very helpful for sizing, costing, and sorting.
I have a three ring binder too for recipes that I find online. My recipes are divided into sections within my binder. I have sections for cake recipes, cookies, icings, and other desserts. I have other recipe books too such as the cake mix doctor. So I have a special storage container for all other recipe books.
Three ring binder with the protective covers over them ... I just wipe them off if I happen to get anything on them while mixing/baking.

good idea!!!! Never thought of that!
I actually keep mine recipes on my computer. So when I need one I print it out. I just toss it away when I finish since it's most likely messed up with something I've spilled on it. Plus when I get a new recipe I just drop it on my "Recipe" folder and the computer automatically sorts them alphabetically for me.
I have a 3 ring binder for my cake recipes. For all my other recipes I have a photo album with 5 x 7 index cards in the sleeves.
