Looks to me like it is a financial backing type thing....as in you find '10' people who need a commercial kitchen and we will set one up in your area and you can use it for free as a thank you. Pretty smart business idea if you have the start-up finances!
This is just my idea from looking at the site! I have no idea on the number '10' just an example....cant wait to hear what you all find out!
Looks like they are wanting to set up kitchens to rent in various places. I would love it if we had something like that here.
I email them too,and did not an answer, but I am not going to give up I am going to call them, my english is not so good but I am going to give a try. I am calling tomorrow.
Ok, so I sent a couple of emails...no response. So I called this morning. 1st time I called the phone just rang and rang. Hmmm...
2nd time I tried (about an hour later) phone rang and rang but I got a "the person at ___-___-___ is unavailable, leave a message" and thought, hmmm...not very professional sounding.
I called back just now and got a voice mail. I truly think it is someones cell phone. I think this looks and sounds a little fishy to me, but it has sparked my curiosity. I left a message for them to call me back, lets see if they do.
Yeah, it sounds fishy to me too. I never did hear anything back. Oh well, it was worth the one try.
Ok...
Just called (again). The gentleman who answered (finally) did not answer as if he was answering as a business. He said "hello?" no business name given, nothing. I asked "is this Kitchen One?" and I got a "Huh?, oh, hang on..." and then the phone was handed to someone else who said "hello?". I asked again "Is this Kitchen One?" to which he replied (and I am sorry, he had a very heavy accent, I couldnt really understand so I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times) "yes but I am only in northen Ca right now". I asked how to go about getting information on this litchen and he stated that I needed to make a deposit then I would be placed on a waiting list and when a time slot came available, they would bill my card for the hrly rate...whats the rate? I dont know, when I said I needed additioonal infomation before I gave them money, he was no longer interested in talking and ended the call!
SOOOOO....fishy...real fishy. I looked up the 800 number through a buddy of mine who can trace anything and he says it is a Cingular wireless number based out of Mountain View CA.
I have no problem with home based businesses (I'm one of them) but I do have a problem with fly by night, scam your money businesses.
thank you for the information, I was calling all week and they did not answer, I guess it was so nice to be true, oh well, I will try convert my garage in my new kitchen, long process but it will be worth it.
You know, if there were something like this around here, it would be a HUGE success!! I would start one if I had the money, but start up costs would be major.
