What i want to know is what do people mean when they only write "bump" in a post?!
thanks,
Kat
it means they are trying to get a response so by bumping the post it resets it back up on the home page board.so everyone can see it!!
I just want to thank everyone who posted or sent a PM for your help in compiling the list of CC acronyms . The list has been updated. If there are any acronyms missing, please PM me or post here. TIA
I am sooo glad I found this thread! I often sit and read through the threads and can't quite figure out some of the ones who use lots of acronyms to express themselves. I have often wondered what they meant and now I know where to come and look for them.
Great thread for those of us who are relatively new members.
Thanks again!
Thanks everyone for the clarification I thought I was going to have to buy a special edition CC dictionary to figure some of these out.
SAHM was one that confused me for awhile...I think it was yesterday that I figured it out.....Stay at Home Mom....and here I was one of those! Haha....I think it probably could be added to the list, its used fairly often but I guess its not really cake related.
I've looked and looked and thought and thought but just can't find it or figure it out. What is NFSC? It's probably totally obivous. lol
Oh Wow, ths thread is priceless!!! Every new member should be taken directly to this thread as soon as they register. It is a very valuable thread.
Thanks Lisa and everyone else for putting it together!!
ahhhhh...."I see," said the blind man! You would probably all crack up if you knew what I had imagined some of them. I though for sure it was domesticated husband...I thought to myself...."where'd they get those???"
HTH Makes a lot more sense when you dont think it means "hittin the hay". And someone be proud of this Okie and her rather redneck translations!
Glad this thread has been helpful NFSC has been added to the list. Thanks pinkyEm and mhill91801.
Thank you for posting these acronyms - I have been too embarrased to ask what they mean.
Thank you - you will neva really know how much more sense posts in this forum make to me now. LOL

MMF is in the recipe section .. it is wonderful!! I love the way it tastes, I love working with it
I just read the recipe for mmf and I have a question. What does adding 2oz melted vanilla candy melts do for the mmf? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.
Thank you very much, I'm brand spanking new and I've been reading some of the other topics and seen these and I have been very confused. Now I don't feel so dumb.
I'm pretty new to Cake Central, love it by the way, but I thought DH meant dumb husband. I don't know why I just assumed that.
Thank You so much for this! I was just getting ready to post a topic to ask what all these abbreviations are, when I came across this!!! I am fairly new to the site. I am going to print this out and tape it to my monitor!
Hhmn, here is one you didn't post.
How about IMCCDO?
In My Conceited Cake Diva Opinion?
