HC (holy crap) kiddo, what are you trying to do, get the thread locked and get me banned from the site, haha! Had to go back to the original post (which incidentally was in May before you joined, thought I would mention that before anyone jumped on me), to see what you were talking about. Now, now, if it was in reference to you, it would have to have been - IMCPDO. Now you have to get the old initials right kiddo. And I think to do that, you need to get a B.A. in English Communications along with your Culinary Arts Degree or you will only be hired by a non-licensed cake site. At least IMHSO, in my humble squirrelly opinion.

Hi! I know it's off topic-is that OT? I forget!-but someone mentioned a MMF recipe. The recipe says to microwave MMF to soften it some. Any ideas/instructions for those of us without (w/o???) a MICROWAVE??? Sorry, but I just prefer my old-fashioned electric range. (Hey, at least it's not a wood cook stove!!!) Anyway, where would I put a microwave ??? Oh, yeah, how else do you soften up MMF? Thanks

Hhmn , you mean if it gets hard in the bag etc? Well, I guess, try turning on your oven to 200F, turn it off, place marshmallow fondant in say, a covered pyrex or corningware container and leave it for a few minutes in the oven. Other than that, I would think sealing it double bagged and placing the bagged fondant into a pan of hot water for a few minutes, might work. The thing is, you have to really watch it, otherwise it will melt. Guess we get so used to microwaving things for a few seconds, we don't really try the other tried and true methods.
And, I was one of the later folks to get a microwave, I think I got it in about '88, so I can relate!

I have noticed lately that some people are ending their posts with HTH, does that mean "happy to help" or something else?
Still OT (Please forgive the newbie. ) Is MMF used like Wilton's Rolled Fondant? OR do you have special directions for using MMF? Thanks for all the help!!!
Yes it is used pretty much the same except people roll it much thinner. I personally don't like it for making decorations like figures and such, but that is me. I am not a big marshmallow fondant fan. Some people just love to work with it.

Hi vreeke, I'm not absolutely sure what ISO is, but my first guess is that it means "In Search Of", like someone is looking for a recipe or a cake pan, something like that. Janice
Thank goodness I found this! All newbies should be directed here immediately!!

A "bump" is a post that bumps a thread to the top of the list so it will be seen again/responded to.
