Ok...so my day starts off really, really bad. Had to have a new crown on my tooth and then find out I need over $1000 worth of work done on my car. I'm not a happy camper at this point and then I get an interesting phone call. Taste of Home magazine calls me to inform me that I am one of the finalists in the cake contest. They needed a larger picture to post in the magazine. I was doing the Happy Dance all over my apartment. Woooohoooo!!! They do not have the results yet, but I am definitely one of the finalists. She told me it should be posted in the August/September issue. I'm soooooo excited. I really hope I win!! The cake I entered is the Christmas present in my photos!! I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know something. I just had to share!!
