Pastillage?

can someone help me with these, does pastillage dries quickly(if i make a bow today will it dry for tomorrow?)
and other thing is there a difference in using knox gelatin from another gelatin for pastillage?

knox gelatin is unflavored and unsweetened.....it's used as like a thickening agent....to make it "set up" you wouldn't want to use cherry jello or anything like that if that's what you mean. I'm sure any "unflavored" gelatin would work though. Knox is just the name of the brand and is very common and easy to find. pastillage DOES dry very quickly!!

ok thank u ! yes i had that doubt, if i could use any brand of unflavored gelatin ...
I'm a little late for my father's day cake so i wanted something that could dry fast for a bow!!
