Hi - do any of you have separate bank accounts for your cake stuff, just to keep all the profits/losses straight? If not, how do you keep track for tax purposes? I'm trying to decide. Thanks!

I don't have a separate account. But I do have Microsoft Money and it keeps track of my spending for me. I created a category along with subcatergories just for my cake stuff.

I do .........but thats for my own benefit...Im always quick to spend money and if its seperate theres a clear line for me. Many times If I make money for a job I want to spend double of supplies, pans ,books, gadgets, etc........ that way when my husbands says something( not like he minds but still) I can be like that was with my cake money).
It helps me save for larger purchases also....

Just curious to see what software y'all use to manage your business beside Microsoft Money and Quickbooks.

Hubby is an accountant but I try to keep this stuff straight myself so I have to have a separate account.
