I was curious how much milk I should use in doctoring a cake mix if I'm replacing the water. If the cake mix calls for 1 1/3 cups water, should I use 1 1/3 cups of milk? Thanks.

Yes, just replace one liquid with another.

You can just use the same amount...

I like to cut back on the liquid if I use a box cake. If it call for 1 1/3 cup I will use a cup or a tiny bit more... It makes for a more dense cake, much like the consistancy of a scratch cake. I feel that they are easier to ice, less crums...

But I do it both ways, both will work...
