THis is my first post, I visit here quite often and find everything so fascinating....now I have a question I am hoping you guys can help with....I was attempted to decorate a cake last night, the top of the cake was two colour and the sides were another, top was purple and blue separated by a yellow line border and the sides were green, it is the Wilton "Indy-scrible" cake from the 2005 yearbook, anyway is there a trick to get the sides to meet the top without making a mess of the two colours streaking together? The picture shows no border around the top of the cake, now I could modify it and put one to hide where the colours meet, but I would prefer not to do that.....any suggestions???

Welcome to Cake Central! It looks like they did the sides first and then carefully did the top. It might work though to do the top first and then do the sides with the icer tip.
