I broke down and bought the 6 pack and a large bottle. I got Arametto, Boston Cream Pie, Chocolate Mint, NY Cheesecake, Orange Creamsicle, Strawberry Cheesecake in the 6 pack and a large Strawberries and Cream. The NFSC sounded so good with the strawberries and cream. I want to try that. I do have a question. If I am mixing up Wilton's BC icing how would I do the drops? Don't use regular flavoring? Sorry I have only been decorating cakes for about a year and this is all new to me. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to get the drops now.
Thanks for this posting! I went CRAZY and ordered 24 flavors. I couldn't resist everyone has been talking about them. I can't wait to get mine!!!!
I'm curious and excited about these myself now...gotta go check them out, they sound great! Thanks
I ordered my sample pack the other day after reading everyone's rave reviews, and it should be here tomorrow!!! I ordered:
Banana Nut Cream
Pralines & Cream
Chocolate Macadamia Nut
Marshmallow
Chocolate Mint
and Hazelnut
I have a family thing tomorrow night so I believe I'll be doing some experimenting in the kitchen tomorrow after the mail runs. Now all I have to do is figure out what flavors to put with what!
I'm soooooo excited!
I just got mine today and can't wait to try them! What are some combinations you guys are using?
One of my favorites is orange creamcycle with coconut & canned pineapple. That makes a great pina coloda flavored cake. I also like to add boston creme pie to buttercream & use it for filling-everyone says it tastes just like Krispy Kreme. Adding a few drops of vannila ice cream to any cake mixture is a great flavor too. My husband likes the chocolate mint in the cake or icing, or both! I've also added double chocolate to a vannila cake mix and got funny, but good reactions from everyone expecting a vannila flavor.
Let us know what you end up doing & how you like it, it's always interesting to hear what everyone else comes up with. Have fun with them.....
I used the Grannys apple pie in coffee creamer for cake balls. It was sooooooo good with vanilla cake and white chocolate dipped.

now that would be priceless to see....
i've been following this thread & finally got to read it all today, now i want to order some
anyone want to give me their top 2 or 3 favorite flavors???
When I ordered from Capella's I forgot to order my free seventh flavor. She called me today (Sunday) to make sure I got my free bottle. Talk about great customer service!!!!! What more could you ask for? I can't wait to get mine and start using them. The customer representative was so nice. She was from Flushing, New York just like my DH. I even suggested they come up with a cannoli flavor since we are Italian, and we just love cannolis, but we are on a diet and can't eat them!!! Oh, well! Maybe they will develop this flavor. I even mentioned that I heard about it on CC. She seemed very pleased.
Okay, I just ordered my 7 minis. I was talking to my dh online and told him some of the flavors. He said to quit it, since he can't have anything for a couple more months!
I got the Apple Pie, Boston Creme Pie, Chocolate Mint, New York Cheesecake, Orange Creamsicle, Strawberries and Cream, and the Vanilla Ice Cream.
I am considering an order of the coconut, but very nervous, as I am highly allergic to coconut. But I will call on Tuesday to talk to someone regarding it. I can't even touch the Baby Vics Vapor Rub as it has coconut oil in it and my fingers swell up. Ugh! So if I won't get a reaction to the coconut, then I could finally make cakes for people as I have a lot of requests for that flavor.
I will let ya'll know what combinations I come up with once I get my bottles.
Oh my... I think this is a site I could get in BIG trouble on! LOL Im soo going to order some!!

I was told to get off the site and hand over all credit cards until we can afford it.

I found a way around it... mass cleaning and posting on e-bay. Carousel horses, my porcelain clowns, my craft stuff I never play with anymore.
I am so going to save all my e-bay profits and kick down enough to pay for one of every flavor!
It may take time but by george I am going to place an order!
Just wanted to let ya'll know that I got my order and 2 bottles had leaked. I emailed the company and within 5 minutes had a call back on the phone.
She said that just recently they have had a problem with the cap machine and was very apologetic. She said that she will be sending me new ones and to let ya'll know that they have a new bottle coming out very soon. It will replace the 10ml hard bottle with a 15ml squeeze bottle. She said this new bottle will give out the tiny drops without leaking. She is sending me one to try so that I can let ya'll know if I like it.
She also said the discount will go on through the end of the year because of all the business Cake Central has given them. Way to go guys and gals!!
I tried the Apple Pie one in bc icing as a filling. VERY GOOD!! definately not a flavor you expect when eating a cake. I also tried the Amaretto in chocolate cake, and Orange in a yellow cake. I guess i didn't use enought becuase you really couldn't tell there was any flavor in at all.
So how much do you need to flavor a whole cake mix? Are we talking like a tbsp? Or still drops?
I am SO going to order some of these. Altho I am going to have to take a tip from one previous poster and have a massive Garage sale.....Should be fun! Thanks everyone for trying out new stuff and sharing!
Has anyone tried the white chocolate flavour in a buttercream? These sound so yummy - I have just emailed them to see if they'll ship to Australia!
How many drops should I use in a double recipe of BC? I am not sure if I am using enough. I am not getting a real noticiable flavor. Those who have experience please help.
If i'm using it to flavor just the bc for a filling, i ususally add about 20 drops, or 1/4 tsp. I haven't flavored enough to actually cover the cake so can't help you with that.
Has anyone tried the chocolate peanut butter? I thought it was NASTY!! wonder if i just used too much? It smelled really strong.
For flavoring buttercream, I use 5 drops per cup of icing, so my usual recipe of buttercream gets 30 drops (for 6 cups). I used the French Vanilla drops for the buttercream on my last cake, and it tasted better and richer than using vanilla extract! Everyone RAVED about it. I've used the Marshmallow flavored drops in buttercream too, but I didn't use enough and the flavor was too light. I can't wait to try all the other flavors I bought.
I just ordered some minis last night to use in my DH's birthday cake (three tiers, different flavor for each tier...his choice). So, do you think 5 drops per cup of batter would work the same? I'm making just a standard yellow cake recipe, but I would like a nice flavor but not too overpowering! TIA!
