I have a whole can of meringue powder and was wondering if I can use this instead of egg whites when making these frostings. My DH does not like the Whilton recipe says it tasts like shortening.

not sure but I've made the IMBC recipe from this site and it's absolutely delicious.......tastes almost like a whipped cream to me!! Very light and not too sweet at all.......just delicious!
