Hi, I am going to try a cookie boutique for the first time. But I am wondering, do I put the stick in while they are baking, or as soon as they come out of the oven. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Lisa icon_biggrin.gif

Put it in the raw dough and then bake!

I just did my first bouquet a couple weeks ago...and this was the question I had too. I tried several different ways and for me, the cleanest, easiest way was AFTER they came out of the oven. I also ended up using wood skewers, the cookie sticks are way too thick!
GOOD LUCK!
I am doing my second bouquet today!

I do it before they go in the oven. I have tried it both ways...when I do it after they come out, the cookie ends up shrinking on me and the stick is too loose.

Here is a mini how to I did a while back. It shows how to make cookies without cutters and also how I insert my cookie sticks.
