Hi everyone! I was asked to do a birthday cake for a little boy. The theme of the party is those little puppies with the big faces (McDonalds just had toys in the Happy Meals from this) I odn't even know what they are called?? Does anyone have any ideas on where to get something I can use for a buttercream transfer (or have any better ideas - I've never done one!!)
Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
Those are so cute! They're called The Dog. Here's a pic...

That's it!! Thank you! How difficult do you think it will be to do a BCT for this? (I've never done one before!)
birthday express carries the party supplies for this and any other themes. usually they have a cake decorated to match the theme in their catalogs and online at their web site. maybe looking at the party supplies will help you decide what to do.
you could do a dog house with a "the dog dog around or infron of it. make the dog out of fondant.

I think you can do it! You could do everything but the eyes and muzzle/nose as a BCT and then add those after you turn the BCT out onto the cake. It would look great!
That is a very cool idea Lisa - thanks! I will go and check out birthday express and see what they have on it. I will need to practice that BCT technique, I have never done it.
