Can anybody tell me how can I transport a two tiered cake for one hour and 30 minutes without it falling? Attached is the image of the cake I have to make.

(UPS!!, I ATTACHED THE IMAGE TWICE, SORRY IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS)

You put dowels on the bottom layer, cover with the cardboard, then the next layer. You can then put one long dowel down the center of both tiers. It should be fine.

The cake seems small enough that the dowels will do fine. Be sure to put the entire cake in the vehicle on rubber matting to keep it from sliding around. Be sure to take it slow around the turns also - bumps etc. Keep it cool in the car too. Let the cake crust to help it firm up also. Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

Ruty, I am just curious. How are you storing this cake until you need to deliver it on Friday? I am doing a wedding cake and have no idea how I am going to store it until I need to deliver it. Does it have to be in the frig?
