Do you think I could get away with using a heart cookie cutter for Strawberries? I would love to get a strawberry cutter, but I am also cheap and lazy.......

I think a heart cookie cutter would work very well as a strawberry shape. thumbs_up.gif

Yes they are! icon_smile.gif I bought the extract today to make the royal icing flavored.....I hope it turns out. Strawberry isn't one of my favorite flavors unless its real fresh strawberry....but they aren't for me....

The cookie-club is something the Cake_Princess started for cookie addicts! icon_lol.gif Every month, she or Bonnie will announce a theme and during the month, you make cookies for the theme and submit them under this forum. Look for a subject heading of "June Cookie Club" and you'll find where to post your cookies. It's just something to give us another excuse to play with cookies. icon_lol.gif Join us, won't you? Good luck on the job! Sounds terrific.

sweetsomethings - Lately, I use ziploc-type bags for decorating. I find the freezer bags work better than the plain ole sandwich bags which split. Anyway, they're nice and cheap! (in case you're ever in a jam)
