Anyone know how much icing it takes to ice one batch (24) of cupcakes? I need to make several dozen for a baseball team, and I need to know how much icing I need to make ahead of time so I don't get in a pinch.

When I do the swirl of icing on top, I usually get about a batch of icing to a batch of cupcakes. My normal recipe has 2lbs of sugar in it, so it may be a double batch depending on your recipe.
