Sorry little one was ill, but life has a way of going on while we bake and create, and mommy-ing never stops. So again, Congratulations on reaching an attainable goal and surviving the process.

Fantastic job you did!

I had a cake decorator friend who got the job for a radio station to do an 8ft cake. She put an 8ft table with the legs folded up on top of another 8ft table and used the top 8ft table as her cake stand. When the radio station brought their van to pick it up, they just picked up the entire 8ft table (legs folded under) and loaded it in the van. When they arrived at their event, they just unfolded the legs and the cake table was set up with cake in place. I thought it was pretty ingenious of her! No transport problems and she did the entire cake in the comfort of her own space.
