I already charge $2.50 for basic BC cakes, and I'm upping fondant cakes to $3.00, but now I'm being asked to do a 3-tier cheesecake for 150, with each tier being a different type of cheesecake.

Honestly the ingredients aren't that much more than my scratch cakes, and even at $2.50 a slice, I'm still going to come out fine, especially since there's minimal decorating involved.

What do you think? Charge my basic rate or bump it up?

I'm going to check around locally, but most bakeries here would say, "Oh, we don't DO cheesecake."

Good question I haven't done one yet but have been asked. I would think it would cost more since cream cheese isn't cheap also sour cream I would check out the price for all the ingred. x3 there is a good recipe in the cake bible for 100 /3 tier cake.
