I have lost all of my papers that instruct me on baking cakes. I need to bake an 11x15. How much batter do I need or how many cake mixes is that equal to? Thanks!!

You will need 11 cups of batter. Depending on what brand of cake mixes you use, you will need at least 2 boxes, maybe 3 or you could use the cake mix entender recipe posted on this site.;l

My problem is that I haven't been happy with the height of my cakes lately. It seems like I did two really awesome ones and then the others were ugh! Now I remember someone mentioning to put merigune powder in with the cake mix to help it rise. I'll have to remember this for the cake tonight.

Try 1 or 2 TBSP per mix. You'll notice a difference.

I found the insert from Wilton's 11x15 pan. You will need 11 cups of batter. Each box cake makes between 4 and 6 cups. It's best you measure it out.
