Silver Icing

I want to do this as bct but want my silver to come out shiny does anyone know how I can do this? Was thinking of trying luster dust but not sure if i can add this to icing or should i mix with piping gel

I think I'd do the BCT and use grey for the silver. Then right after you flip it onto the cake, while it's still frozen...paint it with the silver dust. If you mix the dust with piping gel and paint it on, it's supposed to just give it a glitter effect. I'd probably mix it with clear vanilla till it looked like mercury and then paint it on with a fine brush.
