I need to do a BCT tonght but it's going on a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting. Wondering if I could do the transfer using the "crusting cream cheese frosting" recipe from this website??

What do you think??

I don't know, but if it's not too late, I am going to bump this up.

Thanks - I actually went ahead and tried it but mixed some of my buttercream in it just in case. It worked fine except for.....yep...the black. Otherwise-no problems! It actually was stiffer than regular - must be the fat in the cream cheese. thumbs_up.gif

This is one I'm not sure about either but in the directions I've read, it calls for crusting buttercream. I would say if the cream cheese frosting crusts well, you could use it.
