Start?? I'm already highly addicted to this site, I usually log in multiple times a day - I think I have a real problem on my hands!! It's just soooo helpful with little tips and hits, and great pictures from all of the members which help to get the little gears in my head rollin'!!

I know I lurked a long time before I registered in Feb of 2005. I did not make my first post until May 21st of 2006. I did my daily visits, but just did not post. Who knows why not?! icon_lol.gif

I really think people sign up just to lurk and get help but just don't want to post for whatever reason. I'm sure there are many people who signed up and have never come back, people who posted a lot and have not been back--who knows what happens in life. While it would be nice to clean up all the non-users, I would think that would be a large task for Heath and Jackie--well with over 92,000 registered members...

And I could have sworn that a person had to be a registered member to view the galleries, but with the upgrade that changed? icon_confused.gif

I LOVE Cake Central! I've never authored my own forum topic, but I do answer the forums if I have a little something to add. If you all have seen my replies, you know they get a little verbose at times icon_lol.gif . Does this count? I've only been a member since Mar/April? but I cannot imagine going a day without looking at Cake Central. I'm always "complaining" about the CCC monkey on my back! icon_biggrin.gif My mom was saying the other day, "What is that, like porn for you?!" icon_lol.gif

p.s. BrandisBakes, I love your signature line! -- "...BadbadGoodgood.." Those Thumb movies crack me up! icon_razz.gif

There is no performance benefit to the site to delete "inactive" accounts, thats why we don't bother.
The other reason we do not delete an account is that if the person ever WAS active in the past, deleting their account would remove all their photos and posts.
