Oh my gosh!

Tried the 3D Duckie cake pan...well, I filled it with cake batter and it didn't rise enough to fill the entire pan! @#$#@%@!!!!!

If you have used this before, what recipe have you used? I prefer scratch cakes...and I have used my recipe over and over again even for the 3D cabbage patch girl and it rose fine...if I have to use a cake mix for this, I will...but, gee whiz...I'm so angry at this pan!

arggg...help?

I haven't tried that pan, but I can simpathize with the problem you are having. I have had the darndest time getting the right recipe for some of those 3-d pans. Did you find a recipe that worked or are you still in need?

I've used it....it takes atleast 5 1/2 cups of batter, if not more.

I use dh, and I don't doctor....I didn't have a problem with it....my advice would be to fill it as far as you possibly can....even if it does spill out some...if it overbakes, it will come out that hole...but atleast you'll have a full duck!

Good Luck!
