I love these slippers, but I am just learning. How do you make the sizing of the templates work together?

Thanks for the template! I made the ballet shoes out of fondant and they were the hit of the baby shower...the mother is keeping them for the little girl's treasure box...cool idea and you enabled me to make a memory for someone who has not been born, but is alive and waiting for the entrance into this wonderful world full of helpful people! Thanks again!

Hi

I have printed off the Ballet Shoe template and did it last night, it is pretty good for first attempt, but I was wondering if anyone had done a video or a step by step guide on fitting it together. I struggled a bit to get the smoothness and think it would be helpful for some tips or guidelines. Can anyone help me ................ I would be really really grateful

Wow, totally bumping this post.  I am a brand new member (in fact I joined to post this question - and also because I am just getting into more detailed decorating).  I am making a ballet themed birthday cake for my niece and I would like to know how much sugar paste is needed for this template?  I am making two slippers and need to order the ingredients (as I live nowhere near anywhere that sells the necessary items on the high street).

Thanks, help much appreciated.

Not sure If your asking about the first picture with instructions which without looking at them closer looks to be made form sugarpaste (fondant) or the template which would need flowerpaste  (gumpaste). if it's the sugarpaste one you may have enough left over from covering the cake that you can colour and use or  if using the template design a small packet of flowerpaste will do as it rolls quite thin but how much you use will depend on the size shoes  you make.
