Hi,
I baked a pound cake using the Country Pound Cake recipe on here. It rose nicely, but the outside has all these bubbles/dots/pox on it. The inside looks excellent and tastes good, just outside doesn't look appetizing. Any ideas why? or another recipe?
Thanks
Joanne

I had the exact same problem with my pound cake too, but mine was made from a Betty Crocker pound cake mix. When the batter was mixed, it looked all smooth... no lumps at all. But after it was baked and cooled, bumps appeared on top. icon_sad.gif So I guess maybe it's the recipe, or pound cakes are just supposed to look like that?
