hi everyone!! i'm coming out of lurkdom for some help!! i've been here for awhile...but haven't posted much, if at all. you have all been such a tremendous help already!! here's my dilemma...
i'm pretty new to the cake decorating world. took the 3 wilton courses and have just been playing around here and there. i did do a wedding cake for a friend though!! (5 tier - 4 tiers of styrofoam, 1 real cake) well, i have now been asked to do a cake for a co-worker's son's birthday in a few weeks! he's very much into all things electronics. she's requesting something to do with electronics...any suggestions?
i've done a successful buttercream transfer so that's always an option for me to do...
thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have!!
what size cake do they want?
what type of electronics? stereos, computers?
how about a stereo system?
you could use two loaf pans for the speakers and then a square inch pan or a or a 9x13" pan for the stereo component. (cassette, cd, radio)
I probably would make it gray or something lighter and then detail it in black.
Good-luck!
