It is a must have bood for anyone who uses cake mixes. The cupcake docotor is great too. I also have the Chocolate Cake docotr, but that one is good but I could survive without it.

I have that book!! I use it all the time! I've made a lot of the cakes in it. The best one is Sour Cream yellow cake. That is my signature recipe now! Everyone wants it! You can tell which recipes I like by the chocolate & cake batter on the pages! You have to try to Cola Cake. That is my favorite!! It's very chocolaty but worth it!!!!! Yummy!!

The next book I buy will be the Cake Bible. I've heard a lot of good things about that too.

Oh.. Snicker Doodle cake is yummy too!!

WHOOO-HOOOO!! My whining paid off...... icon_lol.gif
I've got mom's book now!! Was over there today and asked to "borrow" it, she said yes!!! (but only for a few days icon_sad.gif . )

You can definitely tell what she likes to make, there are several pages with batter and some with chocoalte on them. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks all for the tips on which cakes you like in this book. I borrowed this book from the library a few weeks ago and couldn't make up my mind on which one to try. I told myself that I wasn't going to buy anymore cake/decorating books because I'm out of space but.......if I love the recipes as much as you, I just might have too!
