So sorry to ask, but the other day I ran across a thread about trying the Jiffy cake mix and adding in additional ingredients to spruce it up...but I can't find it! I wanted to try the Jiffy brand for plain ole' practice cakes, since they are so inexpensive and would be quick to mix.
So, if anyone has tried these (with additional ingredients) would you please reiterate how you made them delish?
Thanks so much!
Sorry I cant help you. I didn't even know that Jiffy made cake mixes. I've only bought the corn bread....not cake mixes.
If your looking to Dr. a cake mix you can use an extra egg, and some pudding (get the kind that you have to cook). Follow the cake mix box instructions when you mix it. I also find that they will need to bake a little longer because I set the oven to 325.
These are always moist and tender. Very good!
HTH....sorry about not know that Jiffy made cake mixes. Maybe its a regional thing???
