I use all Pillsbury. Doesn't matter which flavor I love them all. I have problems with other brands. The BC always domes at least an inch. And the DH always falls apart on me when taking it out of the pan.

I like to buy what is on sale...but as for taste I really like Pillsbury the best. I also like Betty Crocker's chocolate/fudge mixes. icon_smile.gif

I use Betty Crocker. I have to say honestly I do not taste a difference between any of the choc. varieties. Devils Food, Fudge, Milk or German. I like to think I like chocolate but I'm not obsessed with it so maybe that is why I think they all taste the same.

The "perfectly chocolate" cake repice from Hershey's is my favorite chocolate cake. I once at almost half of it once in one sitting. I don't know why I don't make it more often. Hmmm.. I'm in the mood for cake.

Any of the Pillsbury is best in my opinion. I like to use white. My family likes a good white cake.

I use both Pillsbury and Duncan Hines. At times I find my DH to dry out faster than Pillsbury. I believe it's b/c Pillsbury comes with extra pudding. I always get mine from Super Walmart. I don't pay more than .88 cent per box.

I use whatever is on sale, if not I like to buy Pick 'N Save's generic brand of cake mix called Roundy's...I doctor all my cakes mixes so I have yet to notice a difference in the cakes.

i love dh!! any flavor!! it dosent hurt at all that they are always .88 $ either!! pillsbury is always to dry for me.

ot-- i had to get emergency supplies for a unexpected cake this weekend and i was forced to go to another store than walmart(bilo) and i was amazed that they would charge the prices they do for the EXACT same thing that walmart has for more less than half of the bi-lo price!!

ie-- bilo had a "sale" on dh mixes 2=3.00$!!!!!! WHAT!!
p sugar 1=1.69$ !!!!!
almond bark 1==3.79$$$$$ you ahve got to be kidding!! bark at wlly world is always 1.79. same weight and all!! i could not believe the mark up!!

ther is a reason to LOVE walmart!!!

I buy nothing but Duncan Hines. Wal-Mart is the best price for DH cake mixes as previously stated. Can't beat $.88!!!

Also, another reason to love Wal-Mart - they will print a edible image for you for $5.00 a sheet.

Whatever's on sale, but I default to Pillsbury. I doctor every mix though, adding sour cream for chocolate cakes, butter for yellow, whole eggs for white, and pudding for almost everything. Haven't had a complaint yet icon_wink.gif

I love the BC chocolate fudge mix. I prefer to use BC, it seems to yeild the most cups of batter and the cakes turn out very good everytime. I also like Pillsbury but it yeilds less batter. I do not like DH, it always seems to fall apart on me and has a lot of crumbs.

$5.00 a sheet per edible image. That is pretty good and good to know. I had know idea that Walmart will do that for you. Thanks for that info.
