Not sure if this is what your looking for. There is a product called bettercream here in Ohio I get it at GFS. Other people use something called pastry pride . It is in the frozen food section you just whip it up and you can use it as a filling or icing It is a non dairy product. There is also a recipe on here for a whipped cream buttercream.

My mother swears by this stuff called Tip Top dessert and pastry topping. It's non-dairy, and you keep it in the freezer. You can thaw the whole carton and refreeze it. She uses it like a whipped cream frosting on all her cakes (she's really into making 6" birthday cakes). I don't know where you can get it though...probably any place that has a lot of baking stuff?
