I just made Sarah Phillips Ultimate Yellow Cake this weekend. It was very good but very dense and thick. So thick that my sister had to put alot of arm power into cutting it! Very moist. I made it on Friday and she says it is still very fresh.
I ditto toba garrett's moist yellow cake. And Leta thanks you for puttin' the love in the mix with scratch baking.
I like Sarah Phillip's butter cake as well....have made it many times and have never had to use any extra arm power for cutting It is dense but delicious!!
